Located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within walking distance to Souq Waqif, Museum of Islamic Art and a short distance to the business district, West Bay.At Mandarin Oriental, Doha we welcome colleagues with the passion to deliver the best service and exceed our guest’s expectations.Main ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with Director of Sales, ensures total coverage of local, regional and international marketInspires, leads and manages sales team by establishing strong drive for results culture, communicating targets and strategies and providing frequent feedback where necessary to manage performanceSupports Director of Sales in all aspects of running the office and team smoothlyEnsures all requests are handled by the team in time frame set by the companySupports customer loyalty and property’s brand standards by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experienceServices our customers in order to grow share of the accountBuild strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectivelyEnsures an excellent working relationship with all colleagues within hotelBuilds, maintains and develops working relationship with all MO Regional Sales OfficesRequirementsDegree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business ManagementMinimum 5 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environment within Sales and BanquetingA minimum 2 year of experience in a leadership roleArabic speaking is a mustStrong network with local Ministries and Corporate accountsStrong business acumen with ability to analyse financial statements, revenue reports and market dataEffectively develop, implement, monitor and control strategies and goalsAble to train, manage, motivate and develop all direct reports to ensure successful execution of revenue maximisation effortsIf you are interested in joining our team apply today!
