Description : VSAT Engineer
Minimum Qualifications:
 BS Electrical or Telecom Engineering or equivalent degree
Minimum Experience:
 10 years’ experience working in Vsat field.
Job-Specific Skills:
• Extensive experience with Vsat iDirect networks & Hub (management & operation)
o Experience with building up/configuring Vsat iDirect networks,
o Experience with iDirect networks troubleshooting (Hub and remote).
o Experience with using iDirect tools (iMonitor, iBuilder, iSite)
• Knowledgeable with RF satellite communications and IP Networking (CCNA is preferred)
• Knowledgeable with RF ground segment equipment (HPA, LNB, upconverter,) operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable in satellite technologies both current and future roadmaps (DVB-S/DVB-S2, TDMA, SCPC)
• Experience in system configuration, test processes, procedures, and flows.
• Familiar with the operation and troubleshooting of maritime antennas is a plus.
• Experience with other VSAT systems is a plus.
