Description : Oracle DBA with banking experience. Roles and Responsibilities • Handle escalated cases as a last point of contact • Plan, test and implement storage architecture and database installations according to our customers’ demands • Plan, test, and implement any type of database migration (from non-Oracle to Oracle, from Oracle to non-Oracle, involving the same and different schemas, including different versions) • Plan, test, install, configure, and integrate Oracle utilities including, but not limited to, OEM, Oracle Data Guard and Database Partitioning • Plan, test, install and configure database replication for active-passive and active-active solutions • Plan and tune the database and application for improved performance • Plan, implement, and test database backup strategies • Database administration of numerous customer platforms which includes space management and overall health monitoring • Configuration Management and versioning control of the database installations in our customers • Oracle patches installation and Oracle version upgrades • Write detailed Method of Procedures (MoPs) and/or Change Requests for every operation performed in customers. Qualifications and experience • Provide Tier 3 expert support for critical database issues Qualifications - Core • Minimum of 5 years of technical experience • English (fluent written and spoken) • Experience in DBA role for Advanced Oracle, Oracle OVM, Oracle RAC, Oracle DataGuard, advanced replication, PL/SQL development, backup and recovery, data warehousing, capacity planning, Oracle DB Performance Analysis, TNS poisoning • Experience with data migration (from Oracle to non-Oracle DB, from non-Oracle to Oracle DB, from Oracle to Oracle, from non-Oracle to non-Oracle), • Experience with Oracle DB migration from physical Oracle Server to Virtual platform ( OVM, VMware or HyperV) • Experience in Oracle E forms and E-business suite application installation, reconfiguration, disaster recovery configuration for Oracle application software’s • Recovering from database failures, DBMS, and data using Oracle RMAN and FLASHBACK or other designated recovery utilities. • Remotely administering database instances using secure shell (SSH), KVM over Internet Protocol (IP) and other remote access tools. • In-depth experience in replication software such as DataGuard, DBvisit, Goldengate • Expertise in Oracle and database application clients like TOAD, SQL Developer, and Spotlight • Experience in Oracle 10g, 11g, and 12c, including ASM, GRID, and Pluggable DB • Ability to work on Virtual environments, VMWare, Oracle VM, Open Stack • Ability to work with Apache, Tomcat, Java Applications, Networking (TCP/IP, routers, firewalls) incl. the ability to troubleshoot in network environments • Strong knowledge in H/A environments,
