Job Description

A Bachelor's Degree of Engineering or university with major coursework in other closely related fields. Qualifications : Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Planning role Skills Required : Experience of working in a pressurized environment, delivering to tight deadlines and providing input as high at Senior Management level. A high level of PC literacy is required, with particular strengths in Microsoft Office applications Brief Job Description: Prepare / Reviewing the projects baseline schedule with relative Section / Department. Update / monitoring the progress of the project (Highlighting projects problems and delay with mitigation plans if any). Analyzing Project Status and reporting with the appropriate suggestions including Risks involved at each stage of the project. Coordination with the concerned project manager / engineer for the issues related to Planning & Scheduling in addition to the Design Consultants. Prepare / Reviewing the Projects Dashboards using the P6 Web & Update on weekly & monthly for the Sr. Management Review for the committed projects. Issuing the Weekly / Monthly Reports or any other eventually reports requested by concerned department. Attending Progress Meetings and highlighting the critical issues related to Planning and Scheduling. Coordination with Projects Document Controllers to ensure that Document Controls System is properly implemented using the Electronic System such as Primavera Contract Management (PCM) , ERP etc.. and issue the weekly / monthly reports for the Open Submittals and Correspondence for follow-ups by projects concerned team. Assisting Planning & Cost Control Section for the Claims, Variations & Addendum Evaluation and any other tasks associated with Planning & Cost Control Section. Assisting in finalizing the KPI’s of ongoing projects with concerned engineer / section / dept. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work. Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. Performing risk, value management and cost control. Identifying, analysing and developing response to commercial risks.
