SharePoint Consultant for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint configuration, architecture, development, and implementation of custom solutions and portals. Experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and SharePoint Server 2013 required, SharePoint Server 2016 desired. Comprehensive experience with SharePoint configuration 2016 through the web UI and PowerShell scripts. Experience using SharePoint server-side and client-side object models also should have SharePoint Online experience Experience with SharePoint branding with knowledge of creating and editing master pages and page layouts for entire site. Configuring and customizing search, target audience and taxonomies. Experience in the implementation of SharePoint collaboration tools (forums/issue lists, document/form libraries, etc.), and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools The ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under short time constraints involving complex network configuration and/or troubleshooting requirements Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with stakeholders to define system requirements. Familiarity with GitHub. Duties and Responsibilities Define, architect, configure and implement solutions for the SharePoint 2013/2016 Farms and Office web applications. Implementing branding for entire site and configuration using PowerShell scripts. Serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert for SharePoint solutions internally and externally Elicit and analyze business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams. Organize tasks and estimate delivery times. Create and maintain technical documentation Perform operations and maintenance tasks, to include maintaining SharePoint servers and sites, troubleshooting issues, and responding to service desk ticket escalations. Investigate, analyze, document, and correct reported defects. Assist in the development of training documentation and provide training when requested. The primary role of a SharePoint developer is the delivery of quality codes and designs for several features that are based on the provided requirements. These often include reviewing the functional specifications and requirements, writing new codes, writing designs, maintenance of the existing code, providing exhaustive status reports, bug fixing, performing code review and issue the necessary resolutions
