Senior Network Security Administrator Detailed Duties & Responsibilities Strategic • Implement various software and hardware within the IT infrastructure. • Implement Information Security best practise across IT landscape. • Build, design and configure IT security and networks corporate infrastructure. • Operational administration of company’s security infrastructure. • Proactively recommend security solutions for the bank. Operational • Administer and monitor company networks comprising of CISCO switches, routers and firewall. Need to be familiar with Cisco Prime, ICE and Solarwinds. • Administer and monitor firewalls, load balancers and reverse proxy ( Cisco ASA , Sophos UTM , F5). • Monitor and administer organization’s various DMZs and ensure they are secure. • Administer and oversee organization IT security policies for user workstations, internet, email, VPN, LAN and WAN and physical access to IT equipment’s. • Manage telecom solutions utilizing our networks such as IP telephony, video conferencing (LYNC) and fax solution. • Administer and monitor all the telecommunication lines, leased IP VPN, PRI, internet ADSL and Fax solution • Administer and monitor remote logins to the bank via two factor authentication device. • Install local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring • Help system admin and helpdesk to solve and troubleshoots all IT issues whenever necessary • Monitor systems’ access via audit trails, access logs or online monitors and ensure that only authorized users can access the system. • Ensure all security patches are promptly rolled out in-line with bank’s patch management policy. Need to be familiar with SCCM. • Ensuring all SSL certificates are renewed promptly. • Manage Microsoft security solutions like (RMS, PKI, Bit locker, FIM, server and client hardening) • Work with the Information Security Officer to ensure that all systems are implemented with the required security baseline and to ensure that all ISO requirements are fulfilled. • Implement a secure MDM solution to manage the organization’s mobile devices.
