Senior Network Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Job Title - Senior Network Administrator Job Description The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for planning the direction and overseeing the operation of a high performing network team. Will be responsible for design, development and implementation of network projects. Also, will be responsible to provide the best services in a timely manner in accordance with quality systems Experience: Minimum 5 years progressive experience in networks. Proficiency in English and Arabic. Educational Qualification & Certifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT, or a related field Cisco Professional Certifications – CCNP (R&S), CCIE in R&S (preferred) Required Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills. Additional Skills MS-Office, MS-Visio, MS-Project Strong ability to think strategically and technically while acting independently under management guidance. Strong inter-personal and communication skills, team player able to provide technical leadership in IT group. Strong knowledge of system and network monitoring system such as: Solar winds PRTG Cisco Prime Collaboration and Infrastructure Experience with industry-standard technologies such as ISO standards Roles & Responsibilities Supervise the work (networks of technicians and administrative networks). Implement projects related to the maintenance and development of computers and computer network. Studying and coordinate with the relevant authorities to add or exclude the grid lines. Give the necessary permits on network devices, coordinate and link the work of the internal and external network devices. Studying the needs of internal and external network hardware and software. Examines and analyzes the connections and network devices and puts the permanent solutions. Develops structured communication network and network devices used to achieve quality systems. Follows and review the payments and expenses for the network. Trained personnel (technicians network and management network) administratively and technically trained and raise the necessary recommendations. Keep pace with the latest technological developments in the field of networks in order to achieve quality systems and in line with the ministry and systems environment. Reports periodically to the direct Contact Person for the devices, and if the computer network and business-related. Communicate with users and companies across the mobile phone to provide the necessary support. Uses a car to visit and attend special meetings requests of the various sites, the ministry to provide the necessary support. Work with Management and other IT/ISD Staff to build and implement strategies that make business sense. Serve as a project Manager on key IT projects for internal initiatives and external customer deliverables. Document FAQ’s and IT information for both IT staff as well as user community.
