- Candidates will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of commercial/Contracts and financial elements of the project.
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualifications
- Chartered Membership preferred
- Minimum 20 years’ experience
- Large project experience
- International experience preferred
- FIDIC contract experience
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.
- Incumbent must also possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with contract administration.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity is also required.
The position available is a Quantity Surveyor role that will report directly into the Deputy & Senior Contract Managers on site. The position will require the successful candidate to conduct letter writing, some claims research & compilation of arguments, subcontractor handling and for claims & daily management to keep them on track. The idealcandidate will have: - Experience as a QS / SQS - Degree qualified - MRICs - English Language skills - Experience on large civils projects Middle East Expereince The role is available immediately and paying a $8,000 USD net per month + transport, flights & Insurances.
