QR10-14k + flights & medical pr month The Company Digby Morris' client is a highly respected employer in the Qatari market. A privately owned main contractor which employs about 5000 employees entirely in Doha, the company has been operating for about 30 years and has a turnover in the region of $600m per annum. It is largely involved in traditional D&B construction projects including hotels and high rise commercial projects. Owing to a pending retirement the company has an immediate requirement for an ELV Project Electrical Engineer to be based in their head office in Doha. The Role Employee shall be responsible for the complete delivery of End-to-End Projects. The Key Roles shall be: 1.Preparation and coordination of all project documentation. 2.Coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. 3.Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. 4.Project Execution 5.Projects Finalization within time and budget 6.Responsible for Planning & Coordination of ELV works which includes Preparing & Monitoring of Construction 7.Develop the detailed schedules for all ELV activities; Design Procurement, Installation and Testing and Commissioning of the following disciplines: 8.Insure the update and forecast ELV activities 9.Insure the follow-up of the schedule 10.Report to the project Manager 11.Coordination with procurement team for timely delivery of materials at site 12.Monitoring execution and managing overall ELV works carrying out on site observation & coordination in interpreting drawing at site 13.In-house interfacing with other departments related to drawing & ability of front Preparation of sub-contractor billing, progress reports, project documentation, procurement details of materials at site The Ideal Candidate: • Diploma in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline, university degree holder will be an advantage but not mandatory. • At least 12 years relevant working experience in Security or ELV System installation for infrastructure. • Be self-motivated and good communication skills with different levels of trades at site.
