This is a large scale residential development with over 850 lots, a project duration of 3 years with an approximate value of $30M.

The Construction Manager will be oversee a small civil construction team comprised of the following; site manager, site foremen, project engineers and project administrators.

Requirements include:

• Strong Communication & Leadership skills 
• Civil Engineering / Project Engineering background (must be a qualified civil engineer)
• 6+ years' experience with a civil construction contractor 
• Land development experience would be beneficial but not a prerequisite 

Key Responsibilities include:

 Approvals 

• Liaison and relationship building with stakeholders 
• Co-ordinate and manage authority approvals for the project 

Design 

• Co-ordinate and manage the design for the project 
• Co-ordinate design reviews to ensure the design meets the requirements of the Developer's management team 

Procurement 

• Managing the Tender evaluation and Selection of Suppliers & Subcontractors 
• Ensure the project is complying with procurement guidelines 
• Review and execute major subcontracts and purchase orders 

Construction 

• Ensuring the project construction delivery strategy provides the best outcomes for the Developer
• Ensuring the project Plan is implemented on site so that the works comply with applicable
• Ensuring the project Quality Management System is implemented and maintained

This specialist land development consultancy have a requirement for a budding civil engineer looking to further their expertise in civil infrastructure design.

You will have the following:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Exposure to residential and industrial subdivision projects, ideally with an Australian consultancy
• Working knowledge of 12D is preferable

Controls Engineer Qatar

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team. Working closely with the electricians your responsibilities will include resolving plant breakdowns, understanding networking including PLC, SCADA and DCS. You will be responsible for developing, managing and leading continuous improvement activities, identifying critical equipment  listings and implement appropriate equipment standardisations across the plant. In addition, you will be heavily involved in electrical aspects of capital projects across the plant. 

The successful candidate will ideally be tertiary qualified in Electrical and Automation Systems Engineering or Mechatronics. You will have experience in a high speed and complex process control manufacturing environments(preferably Rockwell driven). Your leadership and influencing skills will be evident in your previous success striving for best practice in electrical engineering and reliability within your plant.

Due to an increased project workload, there is an immediate position available for an experienced structural engineer to join their established team on a contract basis.
  
Working amongst experienced structural engineers and drafters, you will work on a number of multistory commercial building and industrial building projects. Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Structural design and analysis of RC and steel framed buildings
• Conducting site inspections
• Liaising with builders and architects
• Coordinating with structural drafters 

As the ideal candidate for this role you will: 

• Be a qualified engineer
• Have 4 years + experience in a consulting environment
• Be familiar with Building Codes and Standards
• Have a good knowledge of RC, steel, and timber
• Work effectively within a team environment
• Be available to commence work in the immediate future 

While this is initially a short term contract, there is potential opportunity for extension.
  
The hourly rate on offer is negotiable and will be determined by your level of experience. A rate of up to 140 k US is available for the right candidate
