Responsible for Company stewardship of high quality and complete Civil and Structural engineering deliverables from Contractor. Ensures that the Project s requirements for all civil engineering deliverables are fully executed by the Contractor, per project schedule. Stewards civil and structural design aspects of the Project with other discipline leads on the PMT, as necessary. Key Job Accountabilities : 1. Responsible for Operability of all civil and structural systems for start -up, normal, turndown and shutdown modes as well as abnormal operating conditions 2. Participates in Hazardous Operations (HAZOP or HAZID) reviews 3. Assists PMT in meeting QGMS expectations as required, especially Risk Assessment, Reliability and Maintenance Study, Facility Design and Construction and Management of Change, 3D Model Reviews, Weight Management, Structural design, Pipe Stress Assessment etc. 4. Tracking and reporting of lessons learned 5. Mentors and fosters the professional development of direct reports 6. Monitor implementation of vendor documentation requirements and spare parts requirements 7. Works in a highly visible project environment with large capital expenditures and significant schedule execution pressures 8. Works in a dynamic environment that has high expectations for flawless project execution in safety, quality, cost and schedule performance which requires the incumbent to demonstrate accuracy initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills 9.
